Turangga has extensive experience in commercial disputes. He has advised clients on a variety of disputes, encompassing distributorship, shareholder, joint venture, banking and finance, consumer, and construction disputes. He has represented clients in cross-border disputes involving a number of jurisdictions, as well as complex civil cases, such as multi-party litigation and citizen lawsuit cases. He has also represented clients in various state administrative proceedings, including those concerning licensing disputes.
As a dispute lawyer, Turangga has assisted and represented clients in proceedings before domestic and international arbitration institutions, including the Indonesian National Board of Arbitration (BANI) and the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC). He has also represented clients before the Consumer Disputes Settlement Board (BPSK).
Before establishing MacalloHarlin Advocates, Turangga was a Senior Associate at Hadiputranto, Hadinoto & Partners, a member firm of Baker & McKenzie International in Indonesia. Prior to this, he practiced with Gani Djemat & Partners, a prominent litigation firm in Jakarta established in 1972. Turangga graduated cum laude from the Faculty of Law, Trisakti University in 2006, and obtained his master’s degree from the Faculty of Law, National University of Singapore in 2009. He is a member of the Indonesian Bar Association (PERADI) and a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb), London, UK.
